The National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable
needs your input and expertise

Please send your ideas, materials and input to info@nvhr.org by August 17, 2007. Information gathered during this open comment period will be used to develop the content of the advocacy materials, which will be rolled out this Fall.

The NVHR Communications Work Group and Ogilvy Public Relations are developing an advocacy toolkit consisting of materials that will aid in our collective lobbying and advocacy efforts. The purpose is to project a unified voice for the elimination of viral hepatitis and to demonstrate strength in numbers.

This new tool is a way that we can communicate the National Hepatitis Elimination Strategy in a consistent and powerful way.  As a coordinator and driver of the national movement to eliminate viral hepatitis, NVHR seeks new avenues, such as this toolkit, that allow us to further our efforts.

To make sure the toolkit is as useful to you as possible, we are asking for your input. We’re looking for your:

  • Fact sheets – On hepatitis, treatment, screening or other relevant topics
  • Testimonials – Personal stories reflecting the impact of hepatitis on the lives of real people
  • Success stories – Description of strategies, campaigns and events that have worked for your organization
  • Talking points – Top discussion points that your organization shares with policymakers on the topic of hepatitis elimination
  • Model legislation – Text of hepatitis legislation that you share with state or national policymakers
  • Other Information – Please share any other content that you think would be helpful to other NVHR member

We welcome your feedback and ideas on how to make the toolkit in line with your needs.
