NVHR Election Results!

We had 14 candidates for this year’s steering committee election and more than half of our voting members participated in the vote. On behalf of the sitting steering committee, we thank all of the candidates. It is great to know that so many people are willing to volunteer their time to serve NVHR and our constituents! Congratulations to our winners. They will be installed to three-year terms beginning in September. The winning candidates are:

WASHINGTON, DC - Demonstrating their long-held commitment to the elimination of hepatitis B and C on July 21, Congressman Mike Honda (D-San Jose), Congressman Anh “Joseph” Cao (LA-02), Congressman David Wu (OR-01), Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-LA-06), and Congressman Charlie Dent (PA-15) gathered with more than 70 other people on Capitol Hill to learn about and get tested for the two serious diseases.
